Welcome to the wonderful world of fascinators. So what is a fascinator? Well its a style of millinery, a frivolous head decoration worn almost exclusively by women. Fascinators were especially popular in the early 20th century and have made a comeback recently. A fascinator may be worn instead of a hat but to occasions where hats were traditionally worn or as an evening accessory, when it may be called a cocktail hat. It is generally worn with fairly dressy attire. They are particularly popular at premium horse-racing events. Brides may choose to wear them as an alternative to a bridal veil or hat, particularly if their gowns are non-traditional.
I dont believe there is a age limit to wearing one. My gorgeous model range from teens to late sixties, and I often get customers saying they dont suit them but have to wear one for an event. Its like choosing a dress, we all suit different styles and I am more than happy to help you choose a style just right for you.
So have a look through my site and send me an e-mail if you have any questions or want some help choosing the right thing.
